Functional exploration equipment system

Hoang Long Clinic have many techniques that help to assess morphology, diagnose functional disorders of body such as electroencephalogram, electrocardiogram, breath test....This helps doctor recommend suitable treatment regimen for the patient.

  • Suzuken Cardico 1210 12-channel electrocardiogram machine

The Kenz Cardico 1210 is a 12-channel digital electrocardiogram that combines analysis and other features to meet all the requirement of ECG. The ultimate system is superior in analysising arrhythmia, with more than 130 diagnostic statement to meet the demand of the physician. The high-resolution thermal printer enables highest accuracy results in different print modes. The system can also print to A4 paper.

  • Neurowerk EEG34 system

The Neurowerk EEG system made of Sigma/Germany is one of the leading products in the world in terms of EEG function.

This is a digital EEG machine that translates the bioelectrical activity of the brain into a convenient and clear viewable image.

  • Helicobacter Pylori detection machine – Urea Breath Test

C13 and C14 Urea Breath Test HUBT-20A1 is designed for the simple and safe detection Helicobacter Pyroli. This method allows assessment infection status without performing endoscopy and reduces test cost. This is the recommended method in detecting H.Pyroli infection before the thorough treatment.

C14 breath test is a method that uses a negligible amount of radioactive material for testing. This amount does not affect the health of the patient.

C13 breath test has the same sensitivity and accuracy as C14. This method has no radioactive, so it is safe for everyone, including children under 8 years old and pregnant women.

At Hoang Long Clinic, we have applied all these methods in diagnosing H.Pyroli. Depending on each case and the specific demands of the patient, the doctor will prescribe a specific method.

  • OSTEOPro DEXA (Dual-Energy X-ray Absorptionmetry) – Bone Mineral Density Measurement.

This is an advanced system with high-speed and high-resolution scanner. Benefits that OSTEOPro DEXA brings to customers:

- OsteoPro DEXA provides better results for scanning and diagnostics. This spine and femur scanning system provides high-resolution images and accurate data.

- Applying advanced technology, OsteoPro DEXA can scan and analyze bones such as spine, femur accurately, measurement reproducibility with a high degree of accuracy and clarity.

- OsteoPro DEXA provides BMD (Bone Mineral Density) measurement in accordance with WHO Standard. The bone density of a patient can be classified into high, medium or low levels easily and quickly.

- Results, which are analyzed by OsteoPro DEXA, are simple and easy to read and help patients understand the diagnostic results.

- OsteoPro DEXA connects different scanned images and compares the data between different parts of the body for more accurate results.

- When using OsteoPro DEXA, bone density is regularly monitored, and the test results can be more accurate by using charts and data tables provided by WHO.

  • High Resolution Manometry (HRM) – Pressure measurement and peristalsis analysis of the esophagus

This is a method of measuring the pressure of lower esophageal sphinter (LES) as well as the contraction of the esophagus when pushing food down into the stomach. From there, it helps to evaluate the esophageal motility, the pressure of the upper and lower esophageal sphincters to diagnose reflux disease.

  • pH Impedance 24-hour Measurement

This is the most accurate method and is the gold standard in the diagnosis of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). This device helps to monitor the amount of acid in the esophagus, when and how long acid exist in the esophagus.

  • Measure the mucosal potential of the upper gastrointestinal tract

When acid from the stomach reflux, it damages the mucosal layer of the esophagus. Measuring the potential of the esophageal mucosa contributes to the diagnosis of mucosal inflammation in people with reflux.

  • PEPTEST – Quantification of Pepsin in saliva

Quantify the presence of Pepsin in saliva to determine the presence or absence of gastric juice in the mouth. If the result is possitive, it means that the patient might have gastroesophageal reflux disease, thereby contributing to the diagnosis of reflux in patients who cannot produce endoscopy such as children, pregnant women, etc.
